La Crêperie de Paris is a yummy, easy and causal sit down restaurant located in the France pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase.
It’s a relatively small restaurant with basic theming.
La Crêperie de Paris features the cuisine of celebrity chef Jérôme Bocuse, the mastermind behind 2 beloved restaurants in the France Pavilion at Epcot: Chefs de France and Monsieur Paul. I really liked the menu options and having the choice of a la carte or prix fixe. Highlights include including savory buckwheat galettes, sweet crepes and authentic French hard cider.
Each time I’ve dined here I’ve gone with the prix fixe including: Choice of Soup of the Day or Salade Maison; choice of one Galette with a Glass of Hard Cider, Soda, or Juice; Choice of one Dessert Crêpe.
Everything was tasty, but the crepes are buckwheat, from the Brittany region of France, and don’t taste like what most people are familiar with.
When we dined in earlier this year, we were celebrating CeeCee’s birthday. The cast members sang to her in French and it was the cutest thing ever!
When it first opened, La Creperie de Paris was walk up only. Now, they do take advance dining reservations and I do recommend having them. If the restaurant is full or you want something on the go, just next door is the takeaway window called Crepes A Emporter.
