Esprit Saint Germain

A stay at Esprit Saint Germain is akin to being a guest in a friend’s home. You are warmly greeted – day and night – with personalized and dedicated service. We thoroughly enjoyed mornings in the library and evenings by the fireplace. It is just the way you imagine a French hotel experience.

A delicious breakfast is included daily, featuring a plentiful buffet of divine pastries, meats, cheeses, cereal, yogurt and fruit. They also offer hot items made to order. Starting our day in this way felt indulgent and special.

You will find complimentary drinks, soft drinks, juice, water, sparkling water, wine, beer, cordials, bubbles, available to serve yourself anytime during your stay.

Esprit Saint Germain offers a lovely Parisian decor in the style of a beautiful private home of Saint Germain des Prés. Each of the 28 rooms, suites and apartments are decorated individually, always with the same sense of comfort and refinement.

We stayed in the Penthouse Suite Club with private terrace and it was extraordinary. You enter the room by a long hallway, with plenty of space for shoes and handbags.

The toilet and a small sink lie just off the hallway, as is common in many Parisian hotels.

Located on the top floor, this Suite is unique with the original beams from the 18th Century, typical to the buildings found in the Saint Germain des Près neighborhood.

The living room was a comfortable haven, with sumptuous seating and a desk. A coffee bar and mini fridge were also here.

The bedroom was grand and spacious, with soaring ceilings and a king bed. Modern amenities made for an easy stay.

The sink, tub and shower room were just off of the bedroom. They were spacious and current.

And, finally, French Doors in both the living room and bedroom open to a beautiful terrace with an unbeatable view of the rooftops of Paris and the Saint Sulpice Church. We enjoyed cappuccinos, sunsets, champagne and more each and every day of our stay.

The concierge packed our Virtuoso amenity as a picnic and we enjoyed it at the base of the Eiffel Tower on what was a romantic and memorable night!

And the divine butter cookies and waters were such a thoughtful departure gift.
