Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day {Shamrock Door Hangers}

I got my festive door hangers put up over the weekend and am ready to usher in March. It has felt like spring here for a solid week and I am loving it! I enjoyed my first porch lunch of the year today.

Since Honey was out of town, I hauled the small ladder out to hang the Irish flag buntings. I popped the shamrock on the door and tied some ribbons on the dogs and was decorated in two minutes flat. You can see the ladies at the door. They were not pleased they didn’t get to come with mama.

The Lucky shamrock from  Bronwyn Hanahan is one of my very favorites. It is the perfect pop of color as we ease out of winter and things start going green.

At the friends entry I have a DIY Shamrock door hanger that Mother and I made eons ago.  I hang this one with a command hook.

I kicked off my season of festive foods last week with John’s top two favorite things ever – Cottage Pie and Creme de Menthe brownies. More to come on that. Hope you’re having a wonderful day!
