When Whit and Honey were off skiing, John and I made the jaunt over to Press Waffle Co in Marietta to try things out.
Oh my! We were thoroughly impressed. It was a gorgeous February day with sunlight streaming in. The service was friendly and efficient and we couldn’t wait to dig in. We started with savory waffles – I did chicken and waffles and John did the “hot” version. They were excellent and filling.
We shared The House for dessert and were almost fighting over the last bite. It was absolutely divine. If we hadn’t been completely gorged, we would have gone for another.
Whit and Honey were so put out they missed it that we headed back over there the following week! This time we added The Cristo to our repertoire. I felt like it could have used a little more filling, but it was still quite good.
And, finally, not to be outdone by John, Whit and Honey went for not one but TWO dessert waffles. The House is still my favorite, but they both loved The Elvis.
