One of my travel besties and fellow book nerds sent me 11/22/63 by Stephen King as a surprise on my door step a few months back. She had told me time and again that it was one of her all time favorites and when I never picked it up, she sent it to me :-) While I love dark thrillers, I’ve never been much of a Stephen King fan. She promised me this one was different and boy was she right! It took me forever to read the book – not only because it is long – but because I tended to flip back to reread portions of the story as the tale was woven together. It was engrossing, thought provoking and just a really great read. Most books I “own” go straight to my Little Free Library on completion, but I hung on to this one to read again!
