If you followed along with DixieTravels on Instagram last week you’ll know I sailed a preview of the stunning Disney Treasure (spoiler alert: it’s my new fave ship!) and did a quick pre-stay at Disney World. I was with a few of my colleagues and we had such a magical time in the parks. Everyone talks about Magic Kingdom at Christmas but dare I say Hollywood Studios is my favorite?!
We soaked in the Christmas cheer while hitting as many rides as possible!
And we had a quick lunch at PizzeRizzo. I don’t know how much longer it will be there so I had to get in what may be one last meal for old time’s sake.
After lunch we hopped over to Epcot where we did the same – ride, Christmas cheer, ride, repeat!
We met more friends for an early dinner at Le Cellier. SO GOOD!
And then we closed out the evening with more rides and sparkle!
Our late night ended with fries from the Mara at the resort and tv in bed!
We stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge, which is just stunning at the holidays with the giant tree and garlands around the lobby. They also have the cutest gingerbread display!
It was great to be “home” for the holidays! I’m planning all the way through 12/31/25 arrivals and it isn’t too early to book for the best choices of resorts and rooms. Plus, you can pay for it over the course of a year!
