Special Friend Day

The sixth grade at CeeCee’s school hosted “Special Friend Day” and I was over the moon to be invited!

My morning started with breakfast and the orchestra before a brief presentation by the school admin.

Next, I was off to join Cee in math! We dominated a math challenge and had so much fun at logic puzzles.

We made a quick stop by her locker, which was just darling and brought back SO MANY memories.

Our next stop was science where we did a fun Kahoot before a challenge to build the tallest tower we could in fifteen minutes. Ours reached the ceiling at the very last second! I told Cee we were lucky our two classes were math and science as those are definitely my strong suits :-) If she got me in lit or history it would have been a different story. She’s just as competitive as I am in school so we made an awesome team.

Our last stop before dismissal was advisement. I loved seeing my name on the whiteboard.

Afterwards, we had a few minutes to burn and ended up at the Ace Hardware. We chose matching bracelets to remember our day! Next, Sister treated us to a delicious lunch at Houston’s. I hadn’t been in ages and it was just as good as ever.

It was one of my favorite days of 2025. I’ll always be her special friend. <3
