I shared the latest version of John’s room last month in this post. I usually don’t think to get a photo when we have the sleeper chair set up…. because it usually gets pressed into use long after I’ve gone to bed when a friend decides to stay over. :-) Occasionally we have a legitimate house guest and I fluff it a little more than John would.
I move the coffee table to the foot of John’s bed. The seat cushion tucks at the head of the mattress. I add this mattress topper to the one that folds out (John also uses this one at school and loves it). I had the bedding from when the boys had twin beds in this room. I keep the bedding in a tub in John’s closet. The side table is perfect for placing a phone or glass of water.

We’ve had this sofa for years, but if you can find something similar, it’s a great option for an extra bed!

-your porch, how do you maintain the cleanliness? Especially with the pollen.
-college laundry. Does John have a method or does he outsource it? We wore jeans many times, & big wool sweaters. Not as much laundry created as my son with the single wear knit sweats & shorts. Heaps of laundry created in days. Where do they find space for clothes waiting to be washed? As far as products laundry sheets are way to go:

Yes – I’ll share the porch soon. Just lived through that! My sister gave John a laundry service as a graduation gift sooooo…. best gift ever! He hasn’t done laundry all year.
