Around Atlanta {Omakase at Home Birthday Celebration}

Last month, we had the most spectacular evening celebrating our dear friends’ birthdays with an omakase in their stunning backyard. As the sun set over the beautiful table—surrounded by genuinely kind, funny, and entertaining friends—you couldn’t help but feel magic in the moment.

Derived from the Japanese phrase “Leave It Up to the Chef,” omakase is more than just a meal—it’s an intimate experience, a moment of connection, trust, and delightful surprises.

A&B enlisted the help of Homemakase to bring their celebration to life, and the result was nothing short of extraordinary. The entire experience was intimate, intentional, and utterly unforgettable. Chef Alex personally curated a seasonal tasting menu featuring fish flown in directly from Toyosu Market, thoughtfully crafting each course to tell a story. Our evening included a progression of delicate appetizers, exquisite sushi courses, and a perfectly sweet ending—all complemented by expertly paired sake selections that elevated the night even further.

The combination of exquisite food, warm conversation, and thoughtful details made it one of those unforgettable nights that leaves you feeling so very grateful for the people in your life.
