A couple of weeks ago, I shared how the boys and I have been celebrating Honey every single day this month. Some days were just sweet little gestures—his favorite snack, a kind note, or a chore taken off his plate. But a few turned into truly memorable moments!
When I found out he had a golf tournament on the morning of his birthday party, I knew I had to pull out all the stops. With the help of his fun and faithful golf partner, my sweet friend L, and the always-game Marme, we pulled off the perfect surprise! Marme and I beat him out of the house—our getaway driver (Daddy-O!) chauffeured us to the club in the rain with a bag full of supplies in tow.
We towel-dried their golf cart as best we could, hung a birthday banner, and taped streamers inside. I had prepped little treat boxes filled with the makings for a screwdriver, chicken biscuits, personalized golf tees, and custom koozies, which we left on the seat to surprise the man of the day!

LH was at Chick-fil-A when they opened and delivered the food straight to my house (along with breakfast for my whole crew!). When we discovered a mix-up in the order, Daddy-O made a second run—talk about all hands on deck!
