Honey and I recently slipped away for our most unique date night of the year so far! Tucked behind Muchacho in Reynoldstown, Tiger Sun is not your average cocktail bar. This is an 18-seat, reservation-only omakase cocktail lounge hidden aboard a vintage tour bus.
Each visit is an experience in itself- a tight 90-minute “ride” through four imaginative cocktails and paired bites that unfold like scenes in a cult classic. Our evening paid tribute to Pulp Fiction, which meant every pour came with a nod to Tarantino’s wild world – nostalgic flavors, clever twists, and plenty of “did you catch that?!” moments.
Between sips and bites, we found ourselves fully immersed in the story Tiger Sun is telling … part Tokyo tasting room, part film noir, all edge and imagination.
A few practicals if I’ve peaked your interest: Tiger Sun opens reservations every other Tuesday at 10 AM, and they vanish in a snap. There are two seatings on weeknights and three on Fridays and Saturdays, each about 90 minutes.
