Around Atlanta {Marietta Square Market}

With bestie M living a bit farther away these days, I’ve been loving the chance to plan little meet-up dates around town. Most recently, she was north of the city for a consulting gig, and I was excited to finally try one of her favorite spots: Marietta Square Market.

We visited on a weekday for lunch, which meant parking was a breeze and crowds were minimal – perfect for a relaxed afternoon catch-up. The Market itself is charming, nestled right in the heart of downtown historic Marietta.

Marietta Square Market’s expansive food hall is a true gem. I t was like a kid in a candy shop! It houses 20 restaurants, three bars, and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options. The revamped warehouse space effortlessly blends a modern, communal vibe with a nod to its history. It’s the kind of spot where everyone can find something they love, and I can’t wait to bring Honey and Whit back.

For our lunch, we went simple and delicious: Greek chicken wraps and Coca-Colas, which we enjoyed al fresco on a perfect fall like day. The combination of great food, girl talk, and historic surroundings made it a wonderful afternoon. I should also mention that my mini wrap and small Coke was $8! It wouldn’t feed one of my boys, but was the perfect size for me.

If you’re in the area, Marietta Square Market is definitely worth a stop! While you’re there, leave some time to explore the Marietta Square…. I wish I had!
