Back in May, I had the joy of sharing one of the most unforgettable evenings with two of my dearest travel friends at Epic Universe. For three ladies that spend a lot of time in theme parks, it was pretty surreal to explore a brand new one together.
That evening, we headed straight for the Magic of Ministry. We lingered over butterbeer crêpes on the sidewalk at Café L’air de la Sirène, sipped on Giggle Juice from Bar Moonshine, and were fitted with wands at Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique. We worked spells across the land, laughed until our cheeks hurt, and reveled in an evening that felt really, really special.

To celebrate the park’s opening, Universal sprinkled street performers throughout Celestial Park. One of the sweetest surprises was a performer who wrote us a personalized friendship poem. Somehow it ended up in my bag, and after a full day in the park and the long journey home, it was more than a little crumpled…. but no less precious.

When I spotted these darling lucite scalloped two-sided frames, an idea immediately sparked. I scanned in our poem and resized it to fit a 4×6 photo. On the reverse, I tucked in a favorite picture of the three of us from that magical evening. It was so simple that I thought you might have a use for a gift like this, too!

I was so excited to deliver the frames to M and B in Disneyland, and I hope they’ll look back on them with as much fondness as I do. That evening is easily one of my most favorite travel days with friends ever.

Because sometimes, the best souvenirs aren’t bought in a shop…. they’re made from those spontaneous little moments.
