Haunted Halloween Home Tour 2025 {Den}

Welcome back, friends! Today I’m sharing more of our Haunted Halloween Home Tour… this time, we’re creeping into the den.

Spiders have absolutely run amok in here, and I’ve pulled out all things black and spooky! The black paper spiders are from Michael’s years ago, and I simply re-attach them each season with painter’s tape. (A classic trick that works every time!)

I love using the boys’ silhouette pillows for an extra touch of black at Halloween. Mother and I made these when they were toddlers, and they’re still one of my favorite things.

I’ve also had this spooky hand for years – picked it up in New Orleans while visiting The Uptown Acorn. It’s become a fun little signature detail that moves around the room year after year. Bowls of candy are one of my go-tos.

Again this season, I downloaded spooky art for the Frame TV, which I adore so much more than staring at a blank black screen. And, of course, y’all already know that our record player has been spinning the darling pumpkin-shaped It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, as well as Haunted Mansion and Nightmare Before Christmas.

The one new addition this year? Animated Haunted Mansion books from Lowe’s! You know I can’t resist a good Disney nod. Years ago I dressed up a few felt witch hats from the Target dollar bin with ribbon for the pups.

And yes … back by popular demand, the family silhouettes have lost their heads again! I used my Cricut to add dripping “blood” details.

The coffee table always gets a colorful fall bouquet, a dish of candy corn, and my favorite skeleton hand. I love decorating with candy during the holidays, and since I hate candy corn, there’s zero temptation! I also tuck in a few seasonal magazines (and bonus points for using what you already have).

Since we use the living room more for puzzles and games now, I moved the haunted typewriter into the den this year, and I love it here!

It’s our most lived-in room and I love seeing it full of little frights and flickers of fall color.

That brings us to the dead end of the den tour!

We’re off to the Georgia Tech game tomorrow, but otherwise looking forward to a low-key weekend at home. Thanks for stopping by… and stay tuned, because more Halloween magic is just around the corner!
