The Haunted Halloween Home Tour continues in the living room today!

Like the rest of this year’s décor, nothing new was added – outside of a few fun food and drink items. Sometimes it’s nice to simply refresh what you already have and enjoy the familiar pieces that have become part of your family’s Halloween tradition.

From the foyer, you can see a full view of the space! My collection of crows has landed on the bookshelves, adding the perfect amount of eerie charm. Honestly, they’re looking a little rag tag after about two decades of service. I may retire them before next year.

Here’s the view from the dining room.

On the coffee table, I used the gold snake candle holder that previously lived on the porch, paired with black battery-operated candles (remote controlled, from here). The digital art for the Frame TV came from from here – it’s amazing how a simple image swap completely changes the room’s mood.

I usually keep the sideboard clear, but this year I styled it with a simple Halloween cocktail setup. The Witches’ Brew from Williams Sonoma was a hit last year, so of course, I picked up another bottle for this season.

The haunted radio is an old favorite from Grandin Road. I do wish it were motion-sensitive instead of manual, and while it’s lightweight and battery-operated, it still does the trick … especially on Trick or Treat night!

The skele-family seems to have made themselves at home this year, too. “Elsa” is perched in the corner by the sideboard, while Anna is stretched out across Skelly – just like her real-life namesake.

Over on the bar tray, I added a few bottles of Halloween-themed wine – you can usually find them at Target this time of year.

And finally, my most treasured Halloween décor pieces of all – the hologram portraits we made years ago at Memento Mori in Magic Kingdom. The experience of having them made (sadly discontinued now) was unforgettable, and they’ve remained some of our most-used souvenirs. They’re always a conversation piece when guests visit!

This room gets so much use these days, and it’s been a much better fit for our family than the old formal living room ever was.

Happy Halloween, y’all!
