The most precious “cherry on top” officially turns thirteen today, and I’m not sure I’m ready for it. From the day she was born, my world has been brighter, sweeter and infinitely more joyful because of CeeCee. She has been a light from the very beginning, and somehow that light just keeps growing.
I know I’ve said this before, but it will always bear repeating. I will forever be grateful to my sister for sharing this beautiful girl with me so generously. She includes me in all the moments that matter, the big ones and the tiny ones, and makes sure I never miss a single girly thing. It happens so often that people still think she’s mine. And honestly, that might be my favorite compliment. The gift of time with her, and the gift of loving her like a daughter, is one of the greatest blessings of my life.
My two favorite CeeCee moments of 2025 were being her special friend at school and sharing the tiniest closet of a stateroom with her on our Disney Wish cruise.
Watching her step into her teenage years has been such a joy. She is a confident, thoughtful and beautiful young lady. Smart, articulate, hardworking, tender-hearted and genuinely funny. She loves skincare, fashion, Disney, crafting and being helpful, and is an extraordinary ballerina. I love having someone to text about outfits, someone who always has lip gloss to share, someone who will happily commit to an entire skincare routine with me, start to finish.
Happy 13th birthday, ange. You are so loved!
