A couple of weeks ago I went ahead and added a few sweet touches to our home for Valentine’s Day. I put things up a little sooner than usual so we could enjoy them for a good solid month. Nothing over the top, just simple pops of pink, red, and hearts that brighten up cold days.
Valentine’s Entry Decor
Over the years, Mother painted and cut the garland for me and also made the five heart canvases. I love having her creations in my home and pulling them out each February.

Family Room Valentine’s Touches
In the den I added bowls of Valentine’s candy and colorful fresh flowers. The rose candle is the same one I’ve been using the last couple of years and it still smells amazing, even when it’s not lit. Over at the banquette I set out an old Valentine’s tic tac toe game and more candy. These gummies from Trader Joe’s are especially yummy and never last long around here.

I’ll share the few little things I put out in the kitchen next!
