Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria is tucked into the Italy Pavilion of EPCOT’s World Showcase, and it is an absolute must visit for our family. It is popular for good reason, and we find ourselves returning trip after trip.
Simply walking through the Italy Pavilion feels like a mini escape, but settling in for a meal at Via Napoli takes it to another level. Time and again we are greeted with warm, friendly service and consistently good food.
The menu focuses on authentic Italian fare, with hearty pastas, fresh salads and traditional Neapolitan pizzas cooked in massive wood burning ovens imported from Italy. While everything looks tempting, we always order pizza. Yes, we can have pizza at home, but these just taste better. :-)
Our go to starters are the arancini, those golden fried risotto balls filled with mozzarella and meat ragù, and the classic caprese salad. From there it is all about the pizza. The Margarita is our collective favorite, simple and perfect every time. We also love the Prosciutto e Melone when we want something a little different. Truly, you cannot go wrong.
When it comes to cocktails, Via Napoli delivers. The Strawberry Dream Rossini is one of my favorite Disney drinks anywhere. Prosecco, strawberry purée, and a strawberry popsicle make it the perfect refresher after a hot park day. A close second is the Lemon Drop, made with vodka and limoncello over shaved ice.
Over the years, I have learned that what makes a meal truly memorable is not just the food, the service, or the setting, but the people you are sharing it with. Via Napoli has been the backdrop for so many happy moments for us, and that is what keeps us coming back.
