Today I’m sending all my love to Marme. It’s hard to find words big enough to thank her for the sacrifices she made for us, the confidence she poured into us and the example she set every single day. Truly, one of the greatest compliments anyone could give me is to say I’m just like her.
And on the other side of that, I feel incredibly grateful to be celebrated myself today. Being John and Whit’s mom has been the greatest joy and privilege of my life. Honey started the day by picking up our favorite bagels, I spent a little time needlepointing, we laid by the pool and ended the afternoon with a beautiful late lunch at the club.
My cup runneth over.
