I absolutely love adding patriotic touches throughout the main areas of our home and soaking them in all summer long. The foyer is always one of the first spaces I decorate because it sets the tone the moment you walk through the front door.
This year, the simplest additions brought festive charm. I tied red, white and blue ribbons around my loyal dog statues and tucked a handful of American flags into the floral arrangement. I also used a couple of strands of the new star ribbon I added to my collection. It took mere minutes but instantly made the space feel ready for the season. Gold Star Ribbon
One of my favorite decorating tricks is using what I already have and adding just a touch of holiday flair. A few ribbons, a few flags and the whole foyer feels celebratory without being overdone.
