It is finally time to BELIEVE!
Disney Cruise Line officially revealed the Disney Believe today, and after months of little clues, construction updates and plenty of speculation, we finally have our first real look at the newest ship joining the fleet.
And there is a LOT to be excited about.
The Disney Believe will set sail on her maiden voyage December 18, 2027 from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, followed by four- and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Caribbean.
The Believe will be the fourth and final ship in the Wish class, joining the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny. While she will share some of the design and experiences we already know and love from those ships, Disney has given the Believe an identity all her own, built around curiosity, discovery and, fittingly, the idea of believing in yourself, your dreams and the possibility of what comes next.
And based on today’s reveal, I think this ship is going to be incredibly special.

Welcome Aboard the Disney Believe
We already knew that Moana would be at the heart of the Disney Believe, and now we know just how beautifully Disney is carrying that story through the Grand Hall.
Moana, Pua and Hei Hei will greet guests as they step aboard, while the entire space draws inspiration from the sky, sea and Pacific Islands. Look closely and you’ll find details inspired by Moana’s clothing, constellations overhead and even the heart of Te Fiti hidden within a chandelier designed to evoke the movement of the ocean.

Outside, Tinker Bell and friends will grace the bow while Woody and Buzz take over the stern with a playful Toy Story-inspired spin on the traditional Disney Cruise Line lettering.

I love that the theme of the Believe isn’t tied to just one story. Instead, Disney is using characters and stories throughout the ship that celebrate dreams, optimism, curiosity and possibility.
New Dining and Lounges
One of the biggest reveals is Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast, an entirely new rotational dining experience featuring Oaken and his family. Rather than retelling the movie, Disney is creating a new chapter in the Frozen story. Guests will dine in a Scandinavian Summerhaus courtyard with music, entertainment and appearances from Anna, Kristoff and other Frozen friends.

And then there are the lounges, which may be some of the things I am most excited to see.
Wishing Well will be an elegant Snow White-inspired lounge with spaces drawing from the castle courtyard and Seven Dwarfs’ cottage.

Sea Notes will bring The Little Mermaid to life in a completely different way as an iridescent piano lounge inspired by Ariel’s grotto. A pearlescent piano will sit at the center, surrounded by little treasures and details from Ariel’s world.

And Skygazers sounds like it was designed for those of us who believe Disney Cruise Line is every bit as wonderful for adults as it is for children. The observatory-inspired pub will sit beneath an evening sky with celestial maps, astronomical instruments, subtle nods to Disney characters who wished upon stars, craft beers, cocktails and light bites.

New Entertainment
Disney Cruise Line entertainment has always been one of the things that sets these ships apart, and Believe is getting some BIG additions.
For the first time ever, Encanto is becoming a full stage production. Disney Encanto will debut exclusively aboard the Believe in the Walt Disney Theatre, bringing Mirabel, the Madrigal family and the music of Lin-Manuel Miranda to the stage.

Tangled: The Musical is also coming aboard with reimagined sets and special effects. This has long been one of my favorite Disney Cruise Line productions, so I am thrilled to see it joining a brand-new ship.

The new Zootopia-inspired Gazelle will serve as a family entertainment hub during the day before transitioning to adult-exclusive entertainment in the evening. Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde will even star in a new interactive family show.

The Staterooms
The Believe’s staterooms will feature all-new artwork inspired by stories including Moana, Coco and Inside Out, while Concierge accommodations will feature Peter Pan or Toy Story themes.
Disney is retaining many of the family-friendly features I love about its staterooms, including generous storage, elevated beds and the split bathrooms found in most rooms. Seventy percent of the staterooms will have verandahs, and more than 450 connecting doors will make the ship especially appealing for extended families traveling together.

There are also some spectacular new suites coming.
The Royal Reef Suite will be inspired by The Little Mermaid, while the Royal Rose Suite draws from Beauty and the Beast.
And then there is the Believe Tower Suite. This two-story suite inside the ship’s forward funnel will sleep eight and take its inspiration from Magic Kingdom itself, with rooms drawing from the park’s different lands and details including Cinderella Castle, fireworks and balloons. Yes, please.

A Few Familiar Favorites
Believe won’t be entirely new, and I’m actually glad about that.
1923 and Worlds of Marvel will return as two of the ship’s rotational dining restaurants. Haunted Mansion Parlor will also be back with a new selection of drinks, and Inside Out: Joyful Sweets returns with new additions from Inside Out 2.

Disney Seas the Adventure will return to the Walt Disney Theatre as well.
I like this approach. Disney is taking some of the best pieces of the Wish-class ships and pairing them with enough completely new experiences to make Believe feel like a ship worth sailing in her own right.

Want to Be Among the First to Sail?
If the Disney Believe is on your wish list, now is the time to start planning!
New Disney ships generate enormous excitement, and Disney Cruise Line uses dynamic pricing. Generally speaking, the more a sailing fills, the more prices can increase. Inaugural sailings, holiday departures and Concierge staterooms can be especially competitive.
I’ve sailed extensively with Disney Cruise Line, and I use that firsthand experience to help my clients select the right itinerary, stateroom and location for their family. I also handle the booking process, monitor available promotions and guide my clients through all the important planning milestones leading up to their cruise.
With early booking beginning October 12, I am already preparing my priority booking list so that I can be ready when each client’s reservation window opens.
If you’re dreaming of sailing aboard the Disney Believe, I’d love to help make it happen!

I cannot wait to step aboard this ship for myself and share it all with you.
For now, I think Disney chose the perfect name. I believe this one is going to be good.
