Waaaaay back in December, my side of the family got tickets to Disney on Ice 100 Years of Magic. Who could have foreseen that I’d barely be limping along and we’d be smack dab in the middle of the craziest end of school year frenzy yet?!? As has become our tradition, we surprised the littles with the news before school on Wednesday morning. When they came down to find Mickey waffles, they knew something good was in store!!
We were some of the first ones there (my new modus operandi to help me get where I have to go these days) and eagerly awaited the arrival of our cousins, Sister and her Mister and Mimi and Ampa. To make things all the more fun, MY bestie S and her family (including one of Whit’s besties C) had the row directly behind us!!!
The show started with a few of our favorites…
…and just got better and better by the minute!!
The Finding Nemo piece was fantastic. We adored the sharks!!
I particularly loved the Beauty and Beast part, as that is my all time favorite Disney flick and princess!!
But it was the It’s A Small World piece that really stole the show! It was incredible to see the arena transformed into this iconic favorite.
We also loved the Pinocchio part. It’s been ages since I’ve seen anything with these characters.
The grand finale was just that!! So many beloved “friends” all in one place. And I didn’t even get pics of the princesses, Aladin, Mulan, Lion King, Incredibles Stitch or Toy Story during those segments!!
It was a magical evening but makes me want to get back to Disney something crazy!!
xoxo
The show so adorable!! My mom is here from Louisiana. We went with all of my daughters preschool friends and their mothers. It was a blast. I was able to get 10 dollar friends and family tickets. Our seats were great. I was surprised about the seat location. My favorite was Mulan. I was so impressed with the castle. It changed in the blink of an eye! I also loved It's a small world.
What a fun evening! And, as usual the littles look adorable outfitted in their Disney gear!!
Looks like a great evening with the family! Even though this show is more for children, I think I'd enjoy this one as well. =]
