Come Inside…If You Dare

Just as soon as we arrived home from Disney, I enlisted our house goblin (more commonly known as Honey) to scour our spooky, spider filled attic for the Halloween storage bins of yesteryear.  And the very next day, the little ghouls and I headed to the dollar store for a buggy full of supplemental crows and rats before setting work on creating (not so) spooky vignettes all around the house!

Y’all come inside…if you dare.  Bwahahahahaha.

Foyer table with witch’s hair, crows, old books and leaves from yard.  Vinyl bats on mirror.  Rat silhouettes on stairs.  Pumpkin shades from Ballard Designs.
Living room vignette.  Pieces acquired over time… mostly from Home Goods.
Dining room table set up with burlap piece, old cloth (dollar store), crows (mostly dollar store), leaves from yard, various books, candle holders and accessories from around house, rats (dollar store) and chalkboard (michaels).

Kitchen table with pumpkins, leaves and crows.  Skeleton chair backs.  Hand glittered bones in apothecary jar (project from a few years back), venticular pictures (dollar store), pillows from Target clearance last year.
Basement table.  Pieces acquired over time.
We just adore holidays around these parts.  You couldn’t tell, could ya?
xoxo

  2. Oh my goodness, what Halloween fun! You've done a wonderful job with decorating. I love the skeleton hanging from the back of the chair.

  3. Oh my word, this is all unreal. I love all the crows, rats and spiders and your entry table, stairway and dining room are totally unreal. I can't believe it all. How fun and so creative. Also, I always love seeing that entry mirror and the plates, and your ruffled table is stunning. Thanks so much for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty

I LOVE the black wreaths on the backs of the chairs. And everything else for that matter!!

I decorated my Dining Room for Halloween this year after not really doing Halloween for a long time and I did something similar to yours. Found a lot of great items at the Dollar Store too!

  11. I took a trip to Dollar Tree this week and picked up some of the same things. Now I have some great ideas of how to use them (hope you don't mind my "borrowing" them). Your family must love living in such a wonderfully decorated house.
