With a week of school under our belts and things like baseball, tennis and Tech football gearing up, I suppose it’s time to bid farewell to summer. I think the whole family would agree that it was pretty much ten weeks of non stop fun. We finished up our summer bucket list just in the nick of time… We went bowling…the baby loved fluffing up his mane on the hand dryer between frames. And speaking of the baby, let it be known that I barely beat the 3 year old by 3 points. Whew! That was close. We cooked out with friends on the NEW PORCH… We went to the sprayground, played on the playgrounds, had a picnic and fed the ducks… We had a spend the night party with bestie N’s little one – John’s friend since birth… And while John was away, Bird came to play… We had a first grade ice cream party… We played in the bounce house… …and we bounced more at Kangazoom. We built indoor forts (more than a few times). We made big bubbles a whole bunch of times. Not only did we slip n slide, but we did it in the rain! And while Mother Nature seems to disagree, it’s pretty much fall y’all! xoxo

Oh what a perfect summer. Looks like tons of fun and yes, I am so ready for Fall. Hugs, Marty
What a great summer! My oldest starts kindergarten next Monday, and it's as if we just realized that, we've been cramming everything in the these last two weeks: the zoo, animal petting/feeding, steam trains, carousels, rides, beach, picnics, swimming, and I still have another week of this "staycation" to go!
Can't wait til school is back in session:)
