While I was sorting through things I’d stashed away in anticipation of doing up the baby’s big boy room, I realized that I had quite enough stuff in the coffers to go ahead and update their little bathroom as well. But before I work on switching things out in there, I thought I should forever memorialize what I’m dubbing as my boy’s sweet little baby bath. All of this came from our old house and was purchased about seven years ago.
Here’s the before pic of the bathroom. Don’t be jealous.
We really just did a little face lift on the space. We had the gorgeous shower doors and medicine cabinet mirror contraption removed. We cleaned up the tile and painted the walls and vanity. I sewed the Pottery Barn Kids Alphabet Soup valances onto two gingham panels and added the fringe, pom pom trim and polka dot grosgrain ribbon ties. The towels and bath mat were from the same Alphabet Soup line. I ordered the painted letters and prints from a long lost seller on ebay.
Sources:
- Paint – Benjamin Moore Edgecomb Gray (walls) and Alabaster (vanity and trim)
- Mirror – Target
- Light – Shades of Light
- Shower curtain, rug, towels – Pottery Barn Kids Alphabet Soup from about 7 years ago
Next time you see this little space it’ll sporting a new big boy look!
