While riding the monorail to Epcot, we made a spontaneous decision to stop in the Magic Kingdom and have breakfast. Every other day we ate in our room or while in transit and I’d been craving a chocolate croissant from the Main Street Bakery. We lucked into a table right outside with a perfect view of the Disney Wishes parade!
After a lively monorail ride, we arrived at our final destination for the day – Epcot!
We hit some of our favorite rides – Nemo, Soarin (I had to miss this one last year and it was ah-mazing. When they showed the Magic Kingdom at the end it was even decked out in Christmas finery!) and The Land – before enlisting in Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure. We did one mission in Mexico (the margs are the best I’ve ever had) and the PCP thought his mission was the bees knees.
We enjoyed a delish and festive lunch at the Biergarten as part of the Candlelight Dining Package (to get reserved seats for the night’s Processional). Seating is communal so we had to lovely couples at our table – one pair was both cast members (in their second career) and we loved hearing their stories. This was probably my second favorite meal of the trip (after Be Our Guest) and the little caramel house next door was divine – I left with a bag of freshly made Werther’s Original Popcorn and a dark chocolate, sea salted caramel bar. Yum!
We ended our day in the front row of the Candlelight Processional. An orchestra, mass choir and narrator Blair Underwood retold the story of Christmas in a moving and astounding performance. It was one of my favorite shows of the week and I’m so glad we did it!
We wrapped up our night by taking in the sights and scenes of the World Showcase on our way back to the room.
Sweet dreams ensued quickly thereafter!

We saw the Candlelight processional last year with Stephen Curtis Chapman. It was surpurb!
Next time you go to Mexican exhibit, have a Blood Orange Margarita @ La Cava Tequila! It is absolutely the best (the regular ones are super too, like you had). We got the recipe and made them on Christmas day! LOL
