The Acrylic Tray

My sweet friend P gave me the fabulous HKL Designs acrylic tray that I’d been coveting as a thank you for carrying her chandelier back from Savannah on my last trip.  Totally unnecessary, but fabulous of her all the same :-)

Now, I absolutely adore the fact that the bottom comes off to quickly and easily personalize it with paper or fabric!!!  I quickly got to work cutting a piece of wrapping paper from Target that coordinates with my family office.  Since all of this is underneath, the tray is even useful for serving!!!

I’m currently using it to cull my “in progress” orders from my etsy store.  But don’t think for a minute that this beauty isn’t coming out as a little beverage tray for my next soiree!!

I swear I’m going to do a “reveal” of the office closet REEEEEAAAALLLL soon.  I have just a few more loose ends to tie up.

  1. It is perfect! I have a similar try from ikea, problem is I don't have the cover for the bottom, thinking of getting one cut to size from the hardware…. mmmm. Love using wrapping paper too, for a quick switch. Thanks for the inspiration!

  2. Perfect touch having your monogram in gold….with matching scissors, no less! Fabulous! I don't think we are ready for the reveal…it's going to be perfectly insane!! :)

  3. I like all the acrylic that's showing up in the form of trays, tables, and chairs. Your tray is so pretty and I need one for serving ~ with a chevron print bottom!
