Memorial Day

It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died.
Rather we should thank God that such men lived.

Just popping by to say that I hope you all had a lovely Memorial Day.  We spent ours with friends and neighbors in what ended up a fun and laid back long weekend.  Today and every day we proudly wave the red, white and blue and give thanks to all that serve and have served our great country.

  1. You never cease to amaze me. You are an amazing mom, inspiring woman, and proud American. God bless.

  2. I remember that day outside your first dorm room so well. And how he pointed to the top of the KO building and told you that one day you might be able to work there……… And I also remember that he was crying so hard when we drove away that I was not able to cry because I had to watch the road! And then he cried again so hard when we left Sister a couple of years later and I still could not cry! I think I will go have a Coke right now and maybe cry. Love, Marme
