#Iheartmyfather

Last weekend I picked up a Natural Body massage gift card for Honey for Father’s Day.  I know… it sounds strange but he mentioned it recently, it’s been at least 10 years since he had one on a Mexico vacation, and he would NEVER buy that for himself.  If he hates it (I don’t think that will be the case) I might know someone to take it off his hands.  :-)  So, I thought my shopping was done until I received the sweetest email from a reader about Wiphan’s #Iheartmyfather campaign.
Wiphan [widows + orphans] ministers to widows and orphans living in dire physical and spiritual poverty in the compounds outside of Ndola, Zambia.  The organization empowers widows and orphans through the gospel, education and skills training.  None of this was new to me, as I have a precious friend on the board and am constantly amazed and humbled at how her family (all the way down the littlest member) pours into this organization.  I have met many of the organization’s other board members through social functions, and it seems long overdue that I shared all of this!

For Father’s Day, Wiphan is running a precious #Iheartmyfather” fundraiser.  The campaign is all about ‘honoring your father by caring for the fatherless’!  It’s as simple as 1, 2, 3….
1) go to https://www.wiphan.org/iheartmyfather and make a donation (any size will do)
2) print out the “I heart my father” certificate or hold up on your device and snap a pic

3) post away (fb, twitter, instagram) and hashtag #iheartmyfatherIt’s a perfect way to honor the dad in your life this Father’s Day.  It takes about two seconds and was practically made for the guy who has it all.

I huddled the littles around the computer to make our donation, printed our certificate and we snapped this pic (fresh in from the pool…does anyone else live in swim suits?!) to give to Honey on Sunday along with his spa gift card and donation certificate!
And while I’m iffy on the massage, there is not a doubt in my mind that he will LOVE this.  Let your life change the world…
xoxo

  1. Love this and it's exactly what I'll be getting my father (who has 'everything he needs' and 'doesn't need anything') this Father's Day. Thanks for sharing!
