Y’all, the Amanda a decade ago never would have imagined the day that she’d be full on snort-laughing over little boy humor in the year 2016. I’ve said it a thousand times but my boys bring such immeasurable joy and laughter to my days.
When John realized he had a really high hurdle (see the best boy Valentine’s ever HERE) with his fourth grade Valentine’s, we immediately put our heads together to problem solve. For a split second we even considered a whoopee-part-deux. But when our eyes landed on these nose pencil sharpener gems (Amazon Prime), we were positively smitten.
We picked up a few packs of Valentine’s pencils to go along with them and I made tags under his strict supervision. ie. “Mommy, I insist that you DO NOT make them say something awful like ‘I love you from John'”. HAHAHAHA. I realize I’m way too late to help y’all out with tags for this year, but I do have them added to my etsy shop for years to come.
He’s SO beyond excited to hand these out this week. I get it, son. I totally get it.
If you need me, I’ll be over here in hysterics. (What has become of me?!)

I didn’t think it possible, but I truly believe you’ve topped last year’s valentine! Hysterical!
I KNOW you get it!! BOYS!
One word, priceless!
LOL!! Cute and so clever! Sadly my big kids have outgrown class Valentines, they were always so much fun!
I can’t show this to my hubby. He’ll want to give them out at work! Did I somehow miss Cee Cee’s 3rd birthday party photos? I’ll just die if I did.
TOO funny about your hubby! Do not fret… I have not yet blogged her party. We are waiting on the pics from the photographer. Sister let me off the hook this year :-)
Oh. My. Goodness. Dying!!! I would love to see the faces of the little ones as they receive them ?!!!
I wish I could too!!
love it!!!! Do you bag them up for presentation? I’m assuming the pencil will fall out otherwise, right?
Ahhhh, great point. I ended up taping the pencil to the pencil sharpener, but a bag would work too.
Hello,
Quite and interesting and funny idea! I truly laughed at John’s comment :)
