Gobble Gobble

And just like that it is November!  Is anyone else wondering how in the world we are at the tail end of 2017 already?!  I packed away all of the Halloween decor today and the turkey hit the front door before the kids were home from school.

This burlap turkey was a gift from bestie S a few years ago.  Along with a Coton Colors attachment for my Happy Everything plate, this is the sum of my Thanksgiving decor.  HA!

I picked up this cute fall ribbon last year and it was still in great shape so I’m using it again.

Miss Elsa had to get  in on the action, as usual.  She wore herself out following me around the house, porch, yard and attic on my undecorating frenzy today.

Happy November, y’all!!!

  1. I love your turkey on the front door – adorable!

I wonder almost daily how we’re at the end of the year already. The days seem to run away so fast! xoxo

  2. This is completely off the topic of your post today, but I need your advice. We are leaving for WDW at the end of the month, and we’re going to stop halfway and spend the night in Savannah. We’re trying to decide between staying at the Hyatt Regency or the historic district Hampton Inn. They’re the same price essentially, so I’m hoping for a “local’s” opinion. We only have one night, and we’ll likely just do stuff in the historic district. Which hotel would you choose? And if you want to throw in any activity suggestions for a family with 10 and 8 year old girls, I’m all ears! Already looking into eating at the Pirate House that you posted about forever ago.

    1. The Hyatt is right on River Street and has a great location with beautiful views. The Hampton Inn would have free breakfast and is also in a great location. Either would be fine. I can also book any of them for you too :-)
