Petlandia Personalized Pet Books

For Whit’s “something to read” gift this Christmas, he received two books.  The one I have been meaning to share with you is Elsa’s Adventures in Petlandia.  These personalized Petlandia books take about 2 seconds to order and are absolutely darling!  There are various story lines to choose from and you can also pick a pet that looks most like yours from a variety of different breeds.

This particular story features Elsa in a tale of friendship, fame, loneliness and love.

In all honesty, I didn’t read it in its entirety before wrapping it up.  The first night Whit laid down to read it, he laughed out loud, showed Elsa certain pages, and then suddenly burst into tears.  And I mean sobbing, rolling down the face kind of tears.  I thought “OH NO… does she die at the end of the book and I didn’t know that?”  Well, no, he was crying because he “couldn’t believe that Elsa loves me so much she gave up everything to come home and cuddle on the sofa.”  It almost makes me cry thinking about how touched he was.  He loves that dog with every piece of his heart. <3

The gift was for Whit but you can add in a second child.  It is a sweet story, beautifully illustrated, and very well made.  I can highly recommend it.  I actually followed them on social media for a few weeks hoping for a coupon code, which DID finally pan out on Black Friday.  I think this would make a wonderful gift for the Easter baskets as well.

If you’re a Hamilton fan, or happen to have a little Hamilton fan in your home like we do, the other book we gave Whit was Aaron and Alexander: The Most Famous Duel in American History.  He loves it!

We got back in town last night after a wonderful Disney conference.  I have so much to catch y’all up on!

  1. Did you know there is a YA book Alex& Eliza which tell the love story between M/M Hamilton. E brought it home from school today and I’m hoping to read it over the weekend. Not that your boys would be interested, but maybe you will!!

  2. The Elsa book is precious! I’m sure he’ll enjoy both of these for a long, long time! Happy Weekend! xo
