With so many people traveling this week on Spring break, myself included, I thought I would try something different from just continuing on with posts or bringing in guests. I’ve combed through my Google Analytics and will be sharing the Top 5 Best of the Blog posts in my most used categories. Today we are starting with decor and decorating!
The Monogrammed Canvas
This one is an oldie! I turned this out back in 2012 and still have it in my home today.
How to Make a Ruffled Wreath
Make this wonderful wreath, perfect for all seasons, with coffee filters and a foam form for under $7!
2 Simple Steps To An Antique Gold Chandelier Finish
See how I turned a silver lantern into a great antiques gold finish. I’ve used the same method on mirrors and a fireplace screen!
The Holiday Monogrammed Canvas
This is another easy and inexpensive monogram project that can be used in so many different spaces for a variety of holidays or even every day!
Painting the Dresser
See how chalk paint and a little elbow grease transformed this beautiful dresser. It’s been painted for almost 2 years and is still in top shape, even being used every single day!

DIXIE DELIGHTS DELIVERED
Amanda,
The description of #2 does not match the title/photo! I laughed at loud at the thought of you and the family snacking on chandelier chains! Ha! Hope you and your family are still enjoying our city. Your photos have been exceptionally beautiful.
Oh my goodness! Thank you :-). DC has been wonderful!!!! We all are enjoying it!
Have the cherry blossoms started blooming? We delayed our trip to DC until next week because the Park Service pushed back peak blooming date to April 8-12. Hope you guys are enjoying your trip! Have fun in Colonial Williamsburg too.
Have fun on your Spring Break!!…..I go to DC often and never tire of it!
