Four Gifts

I share this every year only because it is one of the things I get asked about most frequently in the history of the blog!!  For Christmas, our family goes by a four gift rule from Santa.

The best and most anticipated gift of our Christmas is always the “DO” gift.  It has involved everything from tickets to a show or exhibit to an overnight in town to a full on trip.  We are thinking about taking them to their first Cirque du Soliel show for 2019.

In addition to Santa gifts, we also give them something from us, a stocking and a Christmas ornament for their trees.  So, all in all, our Christmas is pretty simple.

Letter to Santa

I created a Letter to Santa a couple of years ago.  You can find the instant download in the Dixie Delights Shop!  There is also a page included that doesn’t have the “4 gift” list, but just blank spaces.  The date on the envelope has been updated but it also comes with an undated version. We still visit Santa but I didn’t have them do this list this year.

4 Gift Tag Stickers

I use these stickers on their Santa gifts. They are back in the Dixie Delights Shop this year!

Gift Ideas

My boys have reached the age of wanting just one big thing. This year, they both have airpods at the top of their lists! Similarly, the only thing on Honey’s list are the pro airpods.

John is past the Nerf wars, but Whit still pulls these out frequently with friends:

We also still LOVE to play games. Here are our three favorites:

With that, let the holiday shopping begin!!!!!!!!! If you have any great gift ideas, feel free to share!

  1. Do your parents abide by these rules? I find myself shopping from July to Dec. and wrapping gifts for hours on end.
