Before the boys came along, I made Symphony Brownies all.the.time. They are incredibly simple and next level delicious. And then, one day, I could no longer find Symphony Hershey Bar! I was SO excited to find them at Mother’s Wal Mart over Christmas break. I resisted the urge to buy them out, and just carried home two.
You simply prepare a box of Ghiradelli brownie mix per the directions. Spoon about half of the batter in your preapred baking dish. Break a Hershey Symphony Bar into rectangles and dot all over the brownie mix. Top with the remaining mix. I try to reserve a few squares to break over the top once they are done baking! Sometimes I just can’t resist and gobble them up.
The boys proclaimed these the best brownies they’d ever eaten. They really are good! If you see a Symphony bar, grab it. And I think the Ghirardelli mix is a must (Costco).
Have you tried them?

Oh my goodness! I used to make these all the time! Everyone always loved them. I remember carrying them with a casserole to a family that lost a loved one… I was asked what they were and replied Symphony Brownies… they thought I said Sympathy Brownies! I may just have to hunt for some Symphony bars and make these again!
I don’t mean to make light of it but Sympathy Brownies is kind of great. :-)
My favorite! I buy Symphony bars when I see them then store them in the freezer. The BEST brownie mix is the Ghiradelli from Costco, some kind of triple chocolate wonderfulness.
Agree! That’s exactly what I use!
Thanks for sharing this and the cute comments.😊 Are you using the Symphony bars with almonds and toffee, as it appears in your photo? 😋🍫 I HAVE to make them!! Thanks, Amanda! Happy Super Bowl Weekend, everyone! 🏈 Jane
YES! Almonds and toffee. YUM
