Around Atlanta {The Garden Room}

Honey surprised me with a coveted reservation at The Garden Room for our anniversary! It is one of the hardest-to-get reservations in Atlanta and was such a fun night! He chose this just for me, knowing how much I love the decor and ambiance and fun cocktails, and we had a magical night.

This immersive garden bar and dining experience is an enchanted escape! Everything in every direction is charming and magical.

We arrived early and were excited to find two seats open at the bar for a pre-dinner cocktail. They are always just as creative and beautiful as the Garden Room itself. (My two faves are Send Noods & Bend and Snap.)

After a round of drinks, we headed to our own magical little corner of the Garden Room. The menu items are tapas sized and meant to be shared. Everything is beautifully presented and tasty to boot!

We sat down around 8:00 PM and as the sun set, and the lights came on, the Garden Room transformed! It was the perfect time to visit so we could see it in both daylight and at night.

My last visit to The Garden Room was a lovely night with the girls!

And my other favorite Atlanta spot that is pure magic is The Select.

Reservations are on OpenTable but are scarce. You can also show up at opening at 5PM and wait. It was a magical night and I can’t wait to go back!

  1. Happy Anniversary! Thanks for including me on your adventures and celebrations! Your emails are such a joy to receive and read!! BTW-where did you get the chicken parm? I live in your area….it looked great!
    Godspeed in your summer adventures!

  2. Happy Belated Anniversary! The Garden Room looks beautiful and the food/drinks incredible. For some reason, it gives me a Tavern on the Green vibe which sadly is no longer. Our local restaurant scene is going strong in certain areas of town and in other areas there have been many closings and part of the reason is restaurants are struggling to find help.
