Disneyland Paris {Captain Jack’s – Restaurant des Pirates}

My Disneyland Paris restaurant reviews continue today with Captain Jack’s, located in Adventureland in Disneyland Park. It was such a treat to enjoy a new to us Disney restaurant with absolutely perfect theming. Entering is akin to stepping inside a pirate’s lair, with bottles of rum, jugs, maps, and nautical memorabilia.

Overlooking Pirates of the Caribbean, deep inside is a tropical lagoon bedecked in pirate flags, banners and wanted posters from a lawless age. It is Disney theming at its best!

Waiters in pirates’ garb serve up hearty Creole cooking. Our meal was quite good and we both called it a marvelous night!

Afterwards, we continued the pirate life with a spin on Pirates of the Caribbean, waving at our former dining mates as we sailed by. This one is my favorite version yet!

  1. Did the waiters and ride operators at Disneyland Paris speak English? Was the park more condensed like Disneyland in CA or more spread out? Thank you!

    1. Layout is very similar to Disneyland. Everything is extremely walkable and condensed. Most cast members spoke English. At Captain Jack’s our waiter was not fluent so he grabbed us another waiter that was!
