Disneyland Paris {Day 2: Disneyland Park, Auberge de Cendrillon, Walt Disney Studios Park, Hotel New York}

We hit the ground running early yesterday, but today is our only full day in Disneyland Paris. I so wish we had at least one more – 2 nights is not enough!

Disneyland Paris

Guests of the Disneyland Paris resort hotels get early park entry one hour prior to opening. This is a huge perk and a lot can be done in that hour. We started our day in Disneyland again today. We used Premier Pass today, which gives you expedited access to almost all attractions. It is SO easy, requires no planning or education and worked like a charm.

It has been so much fun to do favorites from the states, but to experience them with a twist. We loved this version of Hyperspace Mountain as our top in any park! Thunder Mountain was very similar but seemed longer and had some bigger drops. Phantom Manor was fantastic – I loved how the wedding / bride theme carried throughout. It was also my favorite of the Haunted Mansions.

The crepes in the park are so so good. For $7 you get a nutella crepe and cold drink. YUM!

I can’t get enough of this castle. We popped back over there to watch Dream and Shine Brighter again. It’s just so pretty!

There is so much to explore inside Sleeping Beauty Castle. Today we went upstairs and did the walk through. You can even go outside on a back balcony of the castle for amazing views of Fantasyland.

Auberge de Cendrillon

I have so been looking forward to this meal and Auberge de Cendrillon was pure magic! Set in a majestic medieval banquet hall, guests enjoy a royal meal in the company of the Disney Princesses. Soaring stone archways, house flags and spectacular stained-glass windows provide a decadent backdrop for enjoying the finest in French cuisine. The food was fine, but the character interaction here was fantastic! Each of the princesses took so much time to talk, ask about your day, sign autographs, take photos, etc. We loved that while they stayed in character, they also would converse with you about the other princesses, Mickey, rides you did that day, the hotel you were staying at and so on. It felt very personal.

Walt Disney Studios Park

After lunch we popped over to Walt Disney Studios Park for more thrills! Crush’s Coaster is unique to Disneyland Paris and was a blast, feeling slightly reminiscent of Guardians of the Galaxy in Epcot. Tower of Terror was fantastic and super creepy in a wonderful French way. It’s definitely my favorite in any park! Web Slingers was just like we have in California and just as fun as always.

Stars on Parade

Our final park activity of the trip was to hop over to Disneyland Park to see the Stars on Parade. Oh gosh – it was magical! Similar to Festival of Fantasy with the pomp and circumstance and just totally enjoyable. It started raining just as the parade rolled, but the show went on even in a steady rain!

Manhattan Restaurant

Served under the chandelier of Asgard, located inside the Art of Marvel Hotel, exquisite dishes created from the freshest produce conquer anyone’s palate at Manhattan Restaurant. After a week of primarily French food, I was thrilled to eat Italian. It was delicious and just what I’d been craving. (Now I want a delicious American cheeseburger and about a hundred tacos.)

Skyline Bar

Our final event of this leg of our trip was a drink in Skyline. The view makes you feel like you’re overlooking Avengers Tower from the top of a skyscraper. It was the perfect ending!
