A Woodland Welcome for Kazi

Honey’s darling cousin is expecting her first, baby Kazi, and we are over the moon with excitement! Alex and her husband relocated to Atlanta from California about five years ago and we have loved having them so nearby. It was my complete pleasure to throw my first baby shower in ages.

Alex loves woodland creatures, so it was an easy theme for the party. I downloaded a kit of printables on etsy for all of fun details.

It was an afternoon shower and I served a light snack of chicken salad, fruit and cupcakes.

I used white dishes from my collection to spell out Kazi. The N doubled as a great Z. Cupcakes were from my favorite Atlanta cottage baker.

I used my Birthday Butler stand for the name banner. She’s going to repurpose it in his nursery. Hersey bars made for a sweet favor. We have a running game going as far as when Baby Kazi will arrive, and all enjoyed leaving notes for the parents to be.

We had so much fun playing two games – I tell you what, John and Whit’s answers had us in stitches.

It was a lovely afternoon celebrating Alex!

Every day we wake up anxious to hear if Kazi has arrived!!!
