Celebrating the Newest Member of the WHS Varsity Golf Team with Birthday Butler

If you’ve been around here a while, you’ll know we celebrate everything. We celebrate the big holidays and the small holidays and the often overlooked holidays, too. We celebrate birthdays and big wins and anniversaries and little accomplishments all the same. I guess we just love a celebration, which makes me so excited to share this fun collaboration with Birthday Butler!!

But, first things first….

Whit made the Varsity Golf Team at school!!!!!!!!!!!!! We’ve been hoping and praying and practicing for this ever since he decided to hang up his lacrosse stick and basketball to focus on golf. It felt like a lot of eggs in one basket, but he passionately loves golf. The team is small and he’s a freshman, so we are just as pleased as punch that he made it!!! We found out late last night so this morning I was up early to prepare his favorite semi-homemade cinnamon rolls and set up a festive breakfast!

Birthday Butler

Birthday Butler is an absolutely genius idea that lets you elevate any type of celebration or win in under two minutes. It is rare that I accept a product collaboration here on the blog, but this is one I knew I’d use and be excited to share with you!

  • The Celebration Stand happily holds a banner over a tabletop or other flat surface.
  • The double-sided banners are available for birthdays, holidays and special occasions. Since they are double-sided, you can use them as a back drop OR a centerpiece!
  • Both are reusable, AND you can even use the stand with your custom creations!!
  • Set-up (and put away!) the stand +
banner in less than 2 minutes.
  • The stand and banners are reusable.

In the same vein of how much I love my Nora Fleming and Happy Everything! pieces, Birthday Butler allows you to have a whole host of celebration ready banners at your finger tips. It’s easy to store and easy to use. WIN WIN! I’ve had it for one week and have used it twice already!

I started my collection with Celebrate and Happy Birthday banners. I cannot wait to add a few more!

Cinnamon Rolls

Now, I know the next thing on your mind has to be this delectable cinnamon roll recipe. It’s so easy, so delicious and I made it about twice monthly!

With that, we’re off on February break!!

  1. Congratulations to Whit on making his schools golf team! I know you are proud of him. My old high school (Meadowbrook) in the Richmond, VA area had some great golf teams back in the day. My older brother graduated with Lanny and Bobby Watkins who later turned professional and played in the PGA. Both got their start at Meadowbrook/Meadowbrook Country Club.

  2. Congrats to Whit! So exciting! I love this banner idea and will have to buy one for graduation this year. Can you believe how fast high school is flying?!!
