It’s been a while since I shared some of our favorite shows. We fall solidly in the Netflix camp, so you’ll find these there!
The Crown Season 6
The series finale of The Crown just didn’t give me enough of anything. I wanted more Kate, more Queen, more years in the timeline. I thought the most intriguing part was how Kate’s mom was portrayed to push her in to the path of William. Overall, I loved this series and will miss it.
Fool Me Once
When ex-soldier Maya sees her murdered husband on a secret nanny cam, she uncovers a deadly conspiracy that stretches deep into the past. This was a great mini-series that gripped us from the start. Honey and I enjoyed watching together.
American Nightmare
After a harrowing home invasion and kidnapping in 2015, a couple is accused of staging the ordeal when the woman reappears in this true-crime docuseries. It was almost hard to believe this was real, and that the couple survived the entire ordeal. I can’t imagine the horror of living through this!
The Night Agent
While monitoring an emergency line, a vigilant FBI agent answers a call that plunges him into a deadly conspiracy involving a mole at the White House. Honey and I were gripped by this one. We agree it’s our collective favorite show we’ve watched in a long time. We are desperately anticipating season 2.
Homicide New York
Detectives and prosecutors revisit their most challenging homicide cases in this chilling true-crime docuseries from the creator of “Law & Order.” This isn’t overly exciting or gripping, but still super interesting. It’s an easy watch while multitasking.
As for what we couldn’t make it through…
The Gentlemen wasn’t for either of us. After reading the trilogy, Honey was excited to start 3 Body Problem. I just feel completely lost and fell asleep 10 minutes in to episode 2.
