I’ve shared here that every year I print out 300 4×6″ prints and slide them into an album. I love knowing that I have real photographs of our most special memories. Well, at the very beginning of senior year I figured out quickly that I was going to need all sorts of pictures of John, at all ages and stages, for a variety of things. As I started to go through 18 years of memories, I added an album to my computer of favorites. By early Spring, I had just about 300. And so, I ordered an album, printed them out and made John a book of real photos – something my boys have few of. Like with the yearbook, I had this out at all of his special gatherings and everyone loved looking through a real photo album. It almost seems like a novelty these days!
Here’s a link to the one I’ve used for many, many years: 4×6″ photo album. It’s now safely ensconced on his bookshelf in his bedroom. 18 years of memories!

I would love to hear how you’ve organized your photos on the computer! That has been something I’ve failed with all these years!
I have an external drive that just goes by Year > Month. If we did something special in the month like a trip or professional photos, I add that under the month. In January I go through ALLL of them and pick out my favorite 300. I upload those to Shutterfly and get 4×6″ prints made.
I have so enjoyed all of the Senior/Graduation posts! Every detail has been wonderful! As a mom to an upcoming Junior, I’m already tucking away ideas.
Did you have a link to the beautiful glass or acrylic photo collage frame you made?
Thanks for all the wonderful, inspirational ideas you share!
I will dig that up! It was actually the front of an acrylic poster frame that I repurposed for the grad season.
Oh great, thank you!
