Biergarten Restaurant in Epcot

Every day is Oktoberfest at Biergarten Resturant in Germany in Epcot’s World Showcase!

It’s been three years since we dined at Biergarten and we all said we regret that! We had such a great experience last week. The food was delicious, service friendly, and ambiance absolutely perfect.

Biergarten transports you to a traditional Bavarian village as you feast on German fare to the oompah beat of a lively Polka band! It isn’t just another meal but a special experience you likely don’t get at home.

I love the live entertainment at Biergarten, where a show runs a few times during the meal and guests are invited to join in on the festivities on the dance floor.

The food is served buffet style, but we don’t mind that at Disney. I feel like they have a really bad stigma. We enjoyed the variety and found most everything delicious! We all enjoyed German fare including bratwurst, rotisserie chicken, pork schnitzel and a variety of salads. Bavarian cheesecake and hand-pulled apple strudel, made fresh daily, are on the dessert menu! Don’t sleep on the beer cheese soup. It’s identical to Le Cellier!

It would hardly be a Biergarten without German style beers! Honey enjoyed this very much, while I chose a yummy wine flight.

Biergarten is also one of the few restaurants available for larger parties without splitting into multiple tables. The reservation is not too terribly hard to get, but I handle those details for my clients. I think this is largely an under-rated meal AND experience and had a lovely time on my visit!

Oh, and Pro Tip…. mobile order the Werther’s Popcorn from Karamell Kuche as you’re paying your check. Breeze in and pick it up on the way out! It’s one of my top 3 Disney snacks!

  1. Oh my gosh, I think the middle guy playing the alphorn was there when we went 14 years ago!!! Biergarten is a great experience, especially if your husband loves anything German, as mine does.
