Thanksgiving Eve

Mother and Daddy-O spent all day preparing a feast for our side of the family Wednesday. All I did was put together some simple appetizers and a cocktail. I’ll share the dip recipe soon.

I can’t remember the last time I had anything turkey, fall or Thanksgiving-ish, but this year I spied these cute plates, napkins and table cloths at Target.

Whit has been talking about making tiramisu for weeks for Thanksgiving. Well, he hurried off to play golf with Honey moments after waking up. I thought I’d review the recipe while I had my coffee. Turns out, you are supposed to chill the dish overnight. I didn’t want to lose four hours while they played and had lunch so I made the tiramisu. :-) I was honestly surprised at how easy it was!

We have done literally NOTHING today other than pack up for John’s departure. He’s already made it to Tuscaloosa for the Iron Bowl. The rest of us have been slugs :-)
