Nutcracker day is always one of my favorite days of the year! Our cherry on top is performing this year in both casts and ALL 10 shows as a jester in the party scene, mouse in battle scene, dragon in tea scene and polichinelle! Her fan club filled up nearly the entire front and center row. She has such incredible stage presence and technique and watching her grow in both her love and talent of dance is a joy.
The show we attended had a meet and greet. I HAD to get this photo… much to my child’s dismay. While he found the dress a bit over the top, it got many compliments.
We met our little dancer outside the cast door after the show like true groupies!
A little mouse told me she loved the cupcakes I gave her one year, so a new bouquet was ordered!
Since she only had a brief break between shows, we had a family outing to Starbucks with our little ballerina!

I also love Cece’s Nutcracker Day every year. I love seeing scenes from her parts, I love seeing whatever inventive gift you bring her and I love seeing your festive outfits! I have to admit I’ve actually bought several of them, starting with the darling Target dresses from years ago😁. This particular dress I felt absolutely in love with but had no place to wear it so I’m so glad I got to live vicariously through you wearing it to Nutcracker Day.
