Seeing as I had not planned on hosting a crowd for Easter, this really came together in a pinch.

I can seat 10 in my dining room but 11 is really pushing it… especially when 8 are man sized. I set up two folding tables in the courtyard and collected chairs from around the yard and house.

The buffalo check table cloths are old from al fresco Thanksgiving 2020. The neutral color palatte has made them useful over the years. They wash and dry nicely.

The candlesticks are part of my china set from our wedding twenty-three years ago. I had already tied the ribbons on them for my dining room Easter decor so I just carried them outside.

The bunny centerpiece was a DIY from a number of years ago that I bring out every Easter. Again, it’s been on my dining room table throughout Lent so I just carried it outside for our lunch.

The china and napkins are old. Rather than having to wash silver for this crowd, I used my Napoleon Bee flatware. The bee glasses (here and here) also pop right in the dishwasher.

Back in February I ordered 8 of the chocolate bunny containers from WalMart for $1 each. When the package arrived, there were 11. I tucked them in the closet in my office and forgot about them until Saturday morning when I thought…. “what am I going to do for this table.” Imagine my delight when I realized I had exactly 11 bunnies for my 11 guests! I monogrammed ribbons, filled them with chocolate candy and used them as place cards.

I still have the boys’ monograms on the water bottles I use when entertaining, and they are always a great addition to the table.

It was a special lunch for a joyous day!

Love those bunnies! Can you please share how you monogrammed them? Are they Cricuit stickers? 🪺 Jane 🌴
I used my cricut. I’ll do a post!
