I’ve been so looking forward to a gorgeous spring evening perfect for mahj al fresco, and this May night did not disappoint! With how crazy this time of year can be, we ended up with a cozy group of eight at two tables. Honestly, I loved the more intimate vibe—it gave me the chance to play with a few friends I hadn’t sat with before, which made the evening feel extra special.
Arrivals are at 6:30, with game play starting promptly at 7. The first half hour is used for a few bites and sips. My cute bestie brought the food and beverages this month. She recently moved too far to host at her home, but is committed to our little group!
Speaking of commitment, I keep hearing just how much this club means to the women who participate. Everyone truly prioritizes being here—marking the date months in advance and rearranging their schedules to make it happen. And let’s be honest, as moms, we don’t do that for ourselves nearly often enough! It’s not just about keeping our minds sharp (though it certainly does that)—it’s about carving out space to connect as women, beyond the busyness of work and kids. I think I speak for all of us when I say that Sips & Suits has been an absolute joy and a true highlight of 2025.
