Well, I usually share my spring pots in, you know, the spring.
I planted everything back in April with every intention of getting pictures up here, and somehow here we are nearing the end of August. Since I’ve been documenting my spring planting on this blog for years, I figured better late than never. I wanted to capture them here before summer gives way to fall and I start pulling everything out.

I should start by reminding everyone that I am absolutely not a gardener. I love a pretty yard, I love flowers and I especially love when someone else has already figured out what should be planted together.
Which brings me to my secret.
For the last few years, I’ve planted essentially the exact same thing in these pots because they do SO well. I have absolutely no idea what most of the plants are called. I buy the big pre-arranged combinations at the Home Depot nursery, bring them home and drop the whole thing right into my pots. Done and done.

Perhaps Marme can weigh in on the actual plant varieties if anyone really wants to know.
Whatever they are, they’ve proven themselves in our Georgia heat and have filled out beautifully year after year. By this point in the summer, they’re huge, happy and spilling over the sides of the pots, which is exactly what I want.
And there you have it. My 2026 “spring” pots, coming to you just in time for fall.

Better late than never, and now they’re officially documented before it’s time for mums, pumpkins and the changing of the guard around here.
