Sips & Suits {February Mahjong Surprise}

February 25, 2026February 25, 2026

I had the biggest surprise this month, and I am still smiling about it. Bestie M and I have a long-standing birthday dinner tradition, and since she moved about an hour away, it did not seem strange at all when she suggested we celebrate a little early this year. We had a lovely dinner, caught… Read More

Celebrating Our January Birthday Girls

February 12, 2026February 12, 2026

Last weekend felt like one of those full heart kind of weekends. Marme and Daddy-O were in town for Whit’s cello concert and Jay’s Matilda performance, and we used the opportunity to gather our party of nine to celebrate our beautiful January birthday girls. Only John was missing, and we certainly felt that gap at… Read More

Pop In & Sip Awhile {Cozy Cocoa Edition}

February 6, 2026April 18, 2026

Pop In & Sip Awhile officially kicked off in December with our Pickle Martini Night. January brought the “Cozy Cocoa Edition”, and if the first two months are any indication, this gathering already feels like a keeper. The idea is simple: a casual, drop-in open house featuring one signature drink, no formal invites, no pressure… Read More

Pop In & Sip Awhile {Dixie Dill-ightful Pickle Martini}

January 9, 2026April 18, 2026

Last month, Honey and I started talking about doing something new in 2026. Nothing fancy or formal. Just an easy, come as you are way to open our home once a month and gather friends around one good drink. Each month we would pick something we were inspired by, throw open the doors, and get… Read More

A Shining Shimmering Splendid New Years Table

January 7, 2026January 7, 2026

Here’s a peek at my New Year’s table in the dining room. Once again, the disco balls made an appearance. They were the centerpiece of our New Year feast table and reflect joy all around the room all day long! Since we sat down to dinner after dark, I wanted to share a few photos… Read More

The Prettiest Little New Year’s Eve Favor

January 2, 2026January 2, 2026

One of my favorite parts of entertaining is adding a small, thoughtful touch that makes guests feel extra special. A Homemade Cookie Cake for New Year’s Eve

January 1, 2026January 1, 2026

Happy New Year!! I brought a cookie cake to our New Year’s Eve celebration this year and I have to tell you… it was an absolute hit. The littles, the teens, the adults – everyone raved. But, as with most things around here, the final product comes with quite a story. I first attempted this… Read More

Once I decided to have a party, the vision came to Once I decided to have a party, the vision came together quickly. I fell in love with a bottle of Chloe wine with a black bow standing in the aisle at Publix in Savannah… and the rest was history.

While pink would have been the obvious choice for me, I loved the idea of something more classic. Black and white, bows and a few (okay, a lot) monograms woven in.

I wanted everything to feel pulled together but still warm. The kind of space where you walk in and immediately feel like you’re somewhere special.

Every ribbon, every layer, every little detail… it all added up to exactly the feeling I was hoping for

Y’all come on in… 🖤🤍

I have so much to share from my 50th birthday part I have so much to share from my 50th birthday party. It was such a magical evening, and there are so many details to share and moments to convey that I’ve had to really think about where to even begin. So we’ll start here.

I went back and forth for a long time on whether or not to even have a party. Party planning is no small undertaking. But then again… I celebrate everything. And I knew I would be sad if this milestone year came and went without marking it in a meaningful way.

With a little encouragement from Honey, it was a go.

And once I decided, I knew exactly what I wanted. A celebration at our home, filled with the people who have shaped my life. I wanted the whole night to feel like me. And I wanted my guests to feel like they belong the moment they walk in. A night where conversations linger, and where you can look around and think… this is everything.

I’ll be sharing it all, but the beginning felt like the only place to start. 🖤🤍
