We give the boys a collectible book each year on their birthday. I tape a copy of the party invitation and a picture of the birthday boy on the inside after the party. We have party guests leave a little note. The birthday book was actually from his 1st birthday party. The Cat in the Hat is for birthday #2!
Cupcake Things! After baking the cupcakes and adding a thin layer of icing, I topped with cotton candy. Don’t do this too early as the cotton candy will get very hard and turn to sugar – trust me, I learned the hard way! I recommend adding the cotton candy as close to party time as possible. I print out the Thing 1 & Thing 2 circles, cut them out and hot glued them on to the cupcake liners after the cupcakes baked and cooled.
Cranberry Lime cocktail for the adults and water with fresh cranberries and limes for the little ones.

Why, the kind you’ll remember

Since both boys celebrate their birthdays so close to Christmas and are gifted so many toys from family and friends, we give them a keepsake gift each year – something they will have forever. More to come on that …
Today is your Day of all Days!
